Reviews
"This is a great service and Oleg is very thorough. I’ve used him twice; first time he helped me decide not to buy a car and second time he confirmed that it was a terrific deal. I highly recommend him. "

Customer
"I had an awesome experience. Will refer to all of my friends and family. Great information."

Tayari
"Great service"

Michael
"This was my first inspection with Oleg and I’m highly satisfied. Very thorough review with lots of pictures and details. As a person who doesn’t know cars very well the inspection saved me from getting in over my head. "

Mario
"I will never buy another used car without hiring CarAdvisors. They saved me a lot of money by finding major repair items on the car I was considering. Highly recommend. "

Lara
"Mr. Karelov thank you. One of theses days we're going to hit the jackpot with your help."

EDWARD
"Oleg performed an extremely thorough inspection of my car during it's 7 day test drive period. He was able to diagnose an issue with the transmission that I had observed but could not tell if it was normal or abnormal for the vehicle's transmission. He was able to show the readings that confirmed the issue at hand clearly and I ended up returning the vehicle."

Ryan
"Great job on letting me know what was wrong with this car. Great customer service money well spent. It was worth it cause I could have brought a car that had a lot of problems. I will definitely use you again. Thanks so much! Mrs. Merritt"

LaTasher
"I highly recommend CarAdvisors. This inspection saved us a lot of money on a vehicle purchase that would have cost us dearly. There were numerous issues with the car. It is better to spend $150 now for a thorough, detailed pre-purchase inspection report including pictures than to spend a few thousand dollars for a car only to find out from the repair shop that there were costly pre-existing problems later. Thank you, CarAdvisors. - Cynthia"

Raymond
"We had a great experience. Very thorough attention to detail and great customer service.Highly recommend!"

James Matthew
"Absolutely kept me from buying something I may have regretted. Highly detailed so that if I did want to risk buying that vehicle I would know exactly what I was going to be repairing in the near future. Wonderful job"

Keith
"The technician was knowledgeable, thorough and efficient!"

Jeffrey
"Very thorough and detailed reports."

Vandora
"Had a great experience with CarAdvisors. They were quick and gave my wife all the info she needed to make an informed decision."

Hillary
"We were given a very comprehensive overview and critique of the car we were going to buy. Our inspector really helped us dodge a bullet, because we ended up not buying the car we were looking at due to unseen issues that he brought up. We’re grateful."

Kevin
"I was in the market for an E46 M3, and this particular car looked beautiful and within my budget. Oleg quickly contacted me and let me know he would be contacting the dealer to schedule an appointment. The report was completed the same day. While there was nothing majorly wrong with the vehicle, there was enough that would need to be done immediately (new tires, potentially a new steering rack) that it was going to cost more than I wanted it to. I appreciated the amount of detail in the report, and will definitely hire Oleg again in the future."

Micah
"Oleg was amazing. I was able to book him and have my inspection done the same day. The report was thorough and very helpful...outlining things I normally would not have considered, but were definitely important to know. I've recommended him to others via the NextDoor app and am currently using him to inspect another used car. "

Customer
"Great inspection and very detailed. Pictures was great and showed the hail damaged on the car "

ELROY
"Fast, thorough and efficient."

Jeffrey
"The mechanic was very professional and gave his honest opinion on the car. "

FAQ
?
How qualified are your mechanics?
We are a small team of specialists with master’s degrees, a deep knowledge of car electronics, and many years experience in auto inspection. We don’t hire unknown mechanics from all over the country just to expand our presence in other states.
?
What type of vehicles do you inspect?
We inspect all cars and trucks of any age and price. If a vehicle is a hybrid or is electric, we thoroughly inspect the battery and generator with a professional scan tool to make sure that these expensive parts are in working condition.
?
Can you perform a computer diagnostic for an older vehicle with a non-standard diagnostic connector(not OBD2)?
Yes, we have special connectors for a wide variety of older vehicles. So even if it doesn't have a carburetor we can perform a computer diagnostic.
?
What types of payments do you accept?
You may pay with card (debit or credit), from your account, or by cash or check after the inspection if you decide to see it in person.
?
Can I cancel an inspection that has already been ordered and scheduled?
Yes, you can cancel an inspection at any time without charge. However, it's preferred that you provide at least 1 hour before the scheduled inspection time.
?
Do you inspect vehicles on a lift?
It depends on the seller. If the seller has the facility to lift the vehicle (for example, if the seller is an auto dealer with a shop) then our specialist would inspect it on the lift. In most cases however, there is a necessity for a lift only if the test drive revealed issues with the drivetrain or suspension, and to determine the source of the problem and if it's ok to lift the car. Otherwise, inspection without a lift won't compromise the quality of the inspection itself.
