Pre-purchase used car inspection

It’s hard to overestimate the importance of a pre-purchase inspection. The risk of buying the wrong car is not just unexpected expensive repairs but compromised safety as well. Non-functional SRS airbag systems, loose bolts in suspension components, rotten frames, and leaking exhaust systems – that’s just a glimpse of what we see every day. To be confident in your next car, order our best-in-class pre-purchase inspection.

Uriel
"This was the second time that I have used car advisors. Oleg was very easy to work with on the scheduling. He showed up exactly on time and got to work. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I would use him again and recommend him to others."

Mark
"Oleg performed an extremely thorough inspection of my car during it's 7 day test drive period. He was able to diagnose an issue with the transmission that I had observed but could not tell if it was normal or abnormal for the vehicle's transmission. He was able to show the readings that confirmed the issue at hand clearly and I ended up returning the vehicle."

Ryan
"Contacted Oleg and luckily he was able to work us in to his busy schedule the same day. This was our third car inspection with Oleg And it was exactly the first two. He works efficiently in his reports, are easy to follow and completely objective. I trust with all my car purchased inspections. "

Mitchell
"Eduardo did a great job. He met me at the dealership to inspect the car and provided a thorough report. I'm thankful for his services because otherwise, I'm pretty sure I would've bought a lemon. It was worth every penny to get his advise. "

Erin
"Loved using Car Advisors - Denis was patient, thorough, and extremely helpful. Steered me away from a bad purchase so I’m using them again until I find the right fit!"

Nichole
"Wonderful service. The technician was courteous and professional. Will definitely use again when needed!"

Erica
"After a little research, I decided to find someone to do an inspection before my next used car purchase. There are other companies online that appear to provide a lot, and I was confused as to whether their inflated prices were worth the money. I chose Car Advisors based on pricing and the sample reports available online. After finding a seemingly perfect BMW X5 with low miles, I setup an appointment online. He setup the inspection with the seller and took care of everything. The report was easily made available online after payment was processed. I was amazed. The report was so detailed, and the inspector was thorough. He found things I never would have thought to look for. And he also discovered some pretty major problems and some computer codes that were cleared out that could have been catastrophic. Inspection fee is a great value and saved me from a potential mistake worth $1000s. I highly recommend Car Advisors and already have another inspection setup for my next prospective vehicle!"

Troy
"This experience was better than expected. Oddly enough the check engine light came on after purchase and he came out to see what was missed. It was just that the gas cap wasn’t secure. I appreciate the urgent response and quick through inspection. "

Camri
"Very thorough inspection. Oleg was able to raise all the issues from mechanic to esthetic... Appointment/Inspection were done in a timely fashion. High quality report: very detailed and illustrated with extra pictures. Very clear communication and excellent customer service. Highly recommend using this service before any pre owned car purchase"

Marouen
"I never buy a used car without a pre-inspection report being done first, and CarAdvisors are my go-to experts. My son found a CRV he wanted for driving from school to his various jobs, and within a day we had scheduled a tech from CarAdvisors to provide us a detailed inspection report to let us know of any issues. As a bonus, we asked whether the seller's price was reasonable, to which we got a confirmation that the value of the car was in-line with the price they were asking. CarAdvisors gave us confidence in our purchase. Highly recommend!"

CJ
"Thank you!"

EDWARD
"This was a great experience. Oleg communicates in a timely manner and the final report actually looks better than when I've had pre-purchase inspections performed at the dealership. I will definitely continue to use these guys!"

Jeffrey
"I don't buy any car without Car Advisors (Oleg) review first. I then assess whether its worth buying. He works for me and not the seller and I am confident in that as well as their report! He thought repairs might cost me up to 2K but I ended up only needing $1200 for the jeep I bought. Great service!"

Jay
"I would use this service every time I buy a used car, the inspection that was done showed me that the car was in a major accident and dealer tried to conceal it. Awesome Service. "

Randolph
"The inspector was on time and professional. He did a thorough and detailed inspection. Car Advisors pre-purchase inspection guided me making the right buying decision. "

Chris
"Very detailed and informative inspection that disclosed some issues that weren't noted in the sellers description. Thanks!"

FAQ
?
How qualified are your mechanics?
We are a small team of specialists with master’s degrees, a deep knowledge of car electronics, and many years experience in auto inspection. We don’t hire unknown mechanics from all over the country just to expand our presence in other states.
?
What type of vehicles do you inspect?
We inspect all cars and trucks of any age and price. If a vehicle is a hybrid or is electric, we thoroughly inspect the battery and generator with a professional scan tool to make sure that these expensive parts are in working condition.
?
Can you perform a computer diagnostic for an older vehicle with a non-standard diagnostic connector(not OBD2)?
Yes, we have special connectors for a wide variety of older vehicles. So even if it doesn't have a carburetor we can perform a computer diagnostic.
?
What types of payments do you accept?
You may pay with card (debit or credit), from your account, or by cash or check after the inspection if you decide to see it in person.
?
Can I cancel an inspection that has already been ordered and scheduled?
Yes, you can cancel an inspection at any time without charge. However, it's preferred that you provide at least 1 hour before the scheduled inspection time.
?
Do you inspect vehicles on a lift?
It depends on the seller. If the seller has the facility to lift the vehicle (for example, if the seller is an auto dealer with a shop) then our specialist would inspect it on the lift. In most cases however, there is a necessity for a lift only if the test drive revealed issues with the drivetrain or suspension, and to determine the source of the problem and if it's ok to lift the car. Otherwise, inspection without a lift won't compromise the quality of the inspection itself.
